Last updated 2026-05-05.
By using ccccharter ("the service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. The service is operated by Clay Parker Jones; questions go to clay@cpj.fyi.
Your account
You sign in with email. You are responsible for the email address tied to your account and for the actions taken from your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, email us.
Your content
You own the charters you write. You grant us a limited license to host, display, and back up that content as needed to operate the service. You can delete your content at any time. We don't claim any ownership of it.
Acceptable use
Don't use the service to:
- Violate the law or someone's rights.
- Send spam, malware, or attempt to breach the service.
- Attempt to access another org's data, or another user's account, without permission.
- Reverse-engineer the service except as permitted by law.
- Use the service to harass, defame, or harm others.
Slack integration
If you connect Slack, you must have authority to grant the requested scopes for that workspace. Don't connect a workspace you don't have permission to act in.
Pricing and changes
Free tier and paid plans are described at /pricing. We may change pricing or features going forward; we'll give reasonable notice for paid plans. Usage caps apply per your plan; we never bill for overage.
Cancellation
You can cancel a paid plan at any time, no notice or penalty. Free accounts can be deleted at any time from your settings or by emailing us.
Disclaimers
The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee uptime, fitness for a particular purpose, or absence of errors. AI-generated drafts may be wrong; you are responsible for reviewing what you publish.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD $100, whichever is greater.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. We'll try to notify you first when reasonable.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the service or via email. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
