Linking & nesting

A charter doesn't live alone. Most teams reference other teams — for handoffs, for shared decisions, for parent/child relationships. ccccharter makes those references first-class.

@-mentions

Type @ in any text field. The autocomplete shows other charters in your org. Pick one, and the mention becomes a clickable link in read mode.

When you save a charter that mentions another team, the mentioned team's editors get an email notification. They can subscribe to your charter to get notified when you change.

Nested subteams

Sometimes a role inside one charter is really a whole subteam. From the role details modal, choose Convert to subteam. The system creates a child charter pre-filled with the role's focus, and links the parent charter to it.

The parent shows a small icon next to the role indicating it's a subteam. The child charter shows its parent in the breadcrumb.

The graph

When you mention another team, link a role to another team's role, or nest a subteam, you're building edges in a graph. Over time the org becomes a navigable map: any charter is a click or two from any other charter it interacts with.

This is the difference between a wiki ("doc dump") and ccccharter ("graph").
